If you think a Pabst Blue Ribbon Coffin is too bourgeois then you might want to opt to be buried in a Pringles can. That's what Fredric Baur did, but he had a pretty good reason. Baur 'invented' the Pringles can back in the sixties. Apparently Pringles cans aren't just refurbished tennis ball containers after all, coulda fooled me. What I don't get is why only part of his ashes were buried in the Pringles can and the rest was split between two urns, one of which was buried next to the Pringles can. I can understand the family bitching out on this guy's final request and keeping some of the ashes for themselves, but why bother getting a second urn that's just going to get buried along side the chip can? This seems like the kind of act you've gotta commit to, so if you've left too many ashes to fit in a single can then the dude running the furnace should pop open another can of Pringles in memoriam. After all, once you pop - you just can't stop...
