Two weeks ago Sigur Rós posted the first track of this album on their website as a free download. Gobbledigook is a fairly different song when compared to the rest of the band's catalog. At first, I wasn't entirely sure I liked the song... at least not as a stand alone track released as a preview of the upcoming album, but it grew on me. I think there are much better songs on Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust though. The rest of the album sounds much more familiar than I was expecting after listening to Gobbledigook. Suð í Eyrum, the sixth track, is a great song that has a Takk-esque crescendo. It's safe to say that if you enjoyed Takk, you'll like this album.
